What sizes and styles do your round baskets come in?
Round Bolga baskets come in four sizes:
Small at 20-29cm for a shelf or small everyday items, medium at 29-36cm for a small market shop or general use, large at 36-42cm for laundry, toys, picnics or groceries, and extra large at 42.5cm and up for bigger loads.
You’ll also find unicolour designs in yellow, red, turquoise, green and more, and vegan round baskets with an elephant grass handle instead of leather.

Do medium round Bolga baskets have a leather handle?
Most come with a leather handle, hand-stitched around the point where it takes the most weight. The leather is offcuts left over from other leatherwork, so the handle uses what would otherwise go to waste.
For a version without leather, the vegan round baskets use an elephant grass handle instead, suited to lighter loads like bread or flowers.

Every basket is coiled by a single Frafra weaver in Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana.
