These square baskets have straight sides and squared corners, so they sit flush against each other and fill a cube or cupboard properly.

They come in three sizes, and you can get them individually or as a set.

The sizes nest inside each other, so a set can be used together on one shelf, spread around the house, or tucked away inside each other when you don’t need them.

The cut-out handles are woven into the sides, so they’re easy to pull out and slide back in.

They’re handwoven in Bolgatanga, in the Upper East Region of Ghana, from elephant grass. It’s a strong, stiff fibre that holds its shape well, which is what lets these baskets keep a square form.

Every basket is made by hand, so you’ll see small differences in the weave, colour and shape from one to the next.
