FAQs

An open Bolga laundry basket has no lid, giving you easy, immediate access to your laundry.
The open top allows air to circulate freely, useful for airing clothes before washing, or for anything else that benefits from a little breathing room.

Like all our Bolga baskets, each open laundry basket is handwoven in Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana, from locally grown elephant grass.

Yes. Our open laundry baskets are available as a set of three: small, medium, and large, or as individual sizes if you only need one.
A set of three laundry baskets works well for sorting by load, person, or room, and the graduated sizes nest together neatly when not in use.

Alongside our Bolga laundry baskets, we offer a range of woven storage baskets for different uses around the home.
Hamper baskets are a popular option for general storage. They’re typically shorter than laundry baskets and commonly used for throw blankets, toys, firewood, and everyday household items, though they can also be used for laundry.
Just like our laundry baskets, they’re handwoven in Ghana from elephant grass.

Our laundry baskets are packed to help maintain their shape in transit and are shipped from Australia.
