Bolga baskets are handwoven in Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana, using locally grown elephant grass.
Artisans craft each basket by hand using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations.
Valued for their strength and flexibility, they’re commonly used for décor, storage, shopping, laundry, and carrying.
Each basket reflects the skill and choices of the individual weaver, and we work directly with weaving communities in Ghana, supporting long-standing relationships and ongoing livelihoods.

Some Bolga baskets are offered with a colour of your choice option, where you select preferred colour tones and a basket is chosen to match.
In addition, all styles are also individually listed, with each basket photographed and named, so you receive the exact piece shown.
Both options are handwoven in Ghana and finished by individual makers.
