About These Baskets
These Baskets are hand-woven from the elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near the village of Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana.
Second grade versions of our standard shopper baskets and our large round baskets.
Grades
Minor discolouration – Colour fading, scuffs on basket, handle marks, cosmetic blemishes
Noticeable Cosmetic Blemishes – Minor imperfections, weave unravelling but still functional
In each 10 pack of baskets, 95% have minor Imperfections like slightly scuffed/stained handles, and some have small weave imperfections.
