When cupped in the hands and gently rustled, they produce the rain-like sound for which they are named – great for teaching kids to play gently. They can also be shaken for a more traditional and louder sound.
Description
The thick, polished pods are a type of hazlenut from the Sterculia family of trees which grow in central Ghana.
Their unique earthy organic sounds makes them wonderful addition to any kind of music.
The colour of the woven handle varies.
