Natural Oval Basket

Handwoven from elephant grass grown along the flood plains of the White Volta near Bolgatanga in northern Ghana.
Each oval basket is handmade and finished with sturdy leather handles sourced from offcuts, giving strength and longevity to a well-used piece.

Are your natural baskets sustainable?
Our entire range of Bolga baskets are individually hand woven by our creative friends in Ghana. The raw elephant grass is a 100% sustainable natural materials.
Each weaver has their own special techniques. Baskets may take 3 days to one week to make depending on the size, design and intricacy of the patterns.

Are oval baskets available in other colours?
Yes. You can choose your preferred tones through our colour of your choice or browse our
range of individually listed woven oval baskets if you’re looking for a specific design.
