Hand-woven from the elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near the village of Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana.
Every Bolga basket is hand made and unique. These hand-woven market baskets are great for any occasion.
*Our African baskets are hand woven so measurements can vary by up to 4cm each way.

Closed weave: A solid, tight weave throughout the Bolga basket
Open wave: The Bolga baskets will feature design gaps between sections of solid tight weaving.
