Superb condition mask or 1960’s heritage.
A plank mask of the Bedu Association of the Gurunsi people which first appeared in the early 20th century. The horns represent a mythical buffalo-like animal which protects and unities. Danced with elaborate raffia, it would appear at many types of ceremonies.
