Our Hamper baskets are the perfect large size storage basket.
Short and wide, hand woven with two convenient handles and available in large or a set of 3 (Small, Medium, and Larg). Use them for toys, books, kindling, loo paper! They often come with striking patterns and a variety of colours from bright, to neutral and earthy tones plus the popular natural style. . Our hamper baskets are hand-woven from the sustainably sourced elephant grass that grows in the rich flood plains around the village of Bolgatanga in Ghana, West Africa. The soft malleable grass is 100% locally sourced and the dyes we use to colour the baskets are 100% non toxic. Our hamper baskets use upcycled goat leather for the convenient and sturdy carry handle. We have been working with the local weaving community for 2 decades and support several families in their artistic weaving tradition.
