About These Baskets
Our fabulous oblong Mega Wawa baskets are super versatile, with plenty of carrying space and extra fine weaving.
Hand-woven from the elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near the village of Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana. Equipped with durable leather handles, they’re perfect for shopping, in the garden, around the home or just sitting pretty. They’re also easy to reshape! Simply immerse in water for a few minutes and mould while wet. Then let dry naturally for a couple of hours and your basket will be looking tip top. We include a care and shaping guide to help you keep your basket looking its best.
